This is for the Alphabet Challenge, letter A. My A is argyle paper, also the 'a' in art in the sentiment. The double challenge was to make it about my Alpha Sisters. I met that challenge by making a friendship quilt of sorts. These ladies never cease to amaze me in their talent and creativity. Not to mention their kindness, faith, rapport they all have with one another. I am blessed to be a part of all that!
I used the SU hexagon ef on the ivory cs. I cut the argyle dp using the curved stitched die, to add some interest. I cut lots of pink hexagons using the punch after stamping lots of different variations. I had a bit of a hard time arranging them and had to cut a sliver off the one on top and the 3 on the right side. I popped all of them up with dimensionals. I made the little satin bow with the bow-easy and colored the flat back pearl and attached it. I stamped the sentiment, die cut it and popped it up with dimensionals.
Overall it wasn't too bad. I marked it a 2 due to the challenge of arranging the hexagons in a way that looked pleasing. Thanks so much for looking!!

Awesome on all accounts. Love your card design. The argyle paper looks great! Love the hexagons. This does look quilt-like and what a lovely representation of what the Alphabet Challenge means to you. Amazing card. TFS

What a unique and lovely friendship quilt card this is Jennifer. I love argyle and this is argyle at its best my friend. I love how you embossed the background, then layered hexagon pieces on top and have that neat curved argyle piece in the bottom corner. Your double bow with pearl is totally rocking my world and is the perfect finishing touch on this wonderful card. I am so glad you are one of the alpha sisters too! Hugs! ~Karen.
